The building construction is worked out in two phases.
First it was planned the construction of the new building as an extension of the Primary Health Centre Dr. Pujol i Capsada, a unitary and simple volume which is located orthogonally to the existing building and oriented in a north-south direction.
The second phase of construction involves the comprehensive reform of the existing building and the relocation of the provisional consultations area in the first phase.
The new building connects to the existing one generating a new access and breaking the symmetry of the previous one. Both volumes create an “L” shape and lead to a large courtyard hosting the Health Centre. The entrance is located where the two buildings meet, the main access from the courtyard and the secondary from the street Riu Anoia. One of the most important decisions was the displacement of the the second floor of the existing building towards west vertex.
