The purpose of this rehabilitation project is the ground floor of a residential building located in the Trinitat Vella neighborhood on Carretera de Ribes 85. This ground floor houses 3 premises that will join to become a Day Centre for the Elderly. The building program is organized on one floor on two levels that adapt to the existing street, where the only facade of the premises is placed.
The main access, located at the southern end of the building that overlooks the Carretera de Ribes road, opens directly to the relational space; This is directly connected to the reception desk and the information and dynamization space. These spaces will be differentiated through furniture. From the relational space you can access to the left in the painting room, services and warehouse. To the right, and as an extension of the relational space, we find the corridor that connects with the multipurpose space and the classroom of activities.
The one-floor center is considered as functional as possible to facilitate the diverse use of spaces. This implies an important rationalization of the facilities.
