The project recognizes and highlights the current reception space between the two pavilions. This is a recent, subtle intervention, a minimal concrete slab that captures the human scale, naturalized and respectful to the existing plants; this is why the project not only preserves it, but proposes its continuity along the north facade. We take advantage of this porch to generate an open plinth, from where it will be possible to have visuals of the interior, currently non-existent.
This space is prioritized as a large hall outside the pavilion, and public access to its interior is maintained through this façade. Above this level, the importance given to the west facade is relevant. It is the main facade, the one of reference, the one that receives the public and visitors. It is the most open to the outside. Due to its orientation, solar protection is proposed that does not limit perceiving the vibration and emotion of what is felt inside. The treatment of the facings is a reflection of what is happening inside, in short, the equipment must be recognizable as soon as we approach, both on this road and from the municipality.
