The main objective is to create a more sustainable and efficient neighborhood model, as well as more inclusive and friendly for its inhabitants. The Master Plan is an urban regeneration tool for planning actions to improve the urban environment, public space, housing and facilities and services. It is both a strategic tool and an executive work instrument that guides future urban improvement interventions of a neighborhood that represents one of the most outstanding examples of architecture and urbanism of the modern movement in Spain.
The project’s Action Plan is structured in five components: • 18 Strategic lines of action that operationalize the strategic objectives • 60 Performances collected in the Catalog of performances, which display the lines of action • Masterplan, where actions and priority areas are identified, conceived as a driving projects • Six Driving projects • Pilot project, in which one of the driving projects is presented in detail
