The hotel complex Vilar de la Duquessa, built in 2003, is designed as a hotel model integrated into the landscape, where the building is configured as a set of low-rise buildings that follow each other along a main street and a central square.

The Vilar’s environment is integrated into the landscape and is made up of open garden spaces and small isolated buildings that contain complementary uses and services to the hotel. The overall image is that of a small town or village that has the necessary services for a pleasant stay in a natural and landscaped environment of remarkable qualities. This somewhat dispersed configuration allows the reform of the Vilar to be resolved in independent phases, which can be executed both consecutively and coincidentally in time.
