The project involves the design and construction of a prototype module for Environmental Education Classroom to install in different locations in the network of parks in Barcelona. The Environmental Education Classroom is a multipurpose space focused mainly to specific environmental activities to school groups as well as families. This is a new facility that some parks will offer based on their educational programme between AMB and the relevant municipalities. An educational space that will value environmental aspects of the park and its surroundings. A place of learning and discovery that is planed as a prefabricated module, flexible and the most economical as possible, capable of responding to the different requirements of environmental education classroom must comply. It is designed to be able to adapt itself to any location and orientation and built with industrialized systems in workshop to optimize time and cost. One of the reference images is that of the wooden cabins in the forest, from which the design is born: the wooden exterior image, the great opening in the main façade, the platform of activities on the front, and the inclined roofs, although in this case to the inside. The inverted construction slopes allow the capture and exploitation of rainwater. This water can be channeled and returned to the ground, where the construction of a drainage well adjacent to the classroom is proposed. This well is a natural deposit and can fit rainwater and return to basement aquifers. The interior should easily interact with outer space, it should be able to work from the interior in connection with the exterior. The building itself will host animals, insects, birds, bats...
